I appreciate CSM Tech’s team who were involved in the SRIS application for their sheer dedication, commendable work, and timely effort. This Social Registry Information developed for NSPS is significantly improving government service delivery in the social protection sector in terms of efficiently managing data (including collecting, analyzing, querying, updating, and sharing data) for enhanced decision-making.

Throughout the process, from requirement analysis, design, and development to implementation, NSPS found CSM Tech and the entire team to be highly dedicated, competent, and supportive. Your team has effectively converted our thought process about the SRIS into the required application with an appropriate analysis of the requirements based on logic. At various stages, the technical issues and communication gaps were proactively addressed with regular reports and follow-ups.

Once again my sincere best wishes for your organization.

SRIS (Social Registry Information System)

Social Registry Information System- The government of Gambia facing major challenges in the identification of genuine beneficiaries and many databases are in silos with lots of anomalies, and duplication without updated information.

Harmonizing the manual steps, such as application and registration, the Cabinet approved the National Social Protection Policy (NSPP) under which SRIS- an end-to-end automated platform of truth facilitating effective policy intervention was developed by CSM. This system is a modular and functionally scalable web-based system developed to collect, process, query, update, and store data on all households (from whom data has been collected) in The Gambia. The SRIS automates the survey household data collection and management in a centralized system, allowing data collected from different locations to be easily managed, and stored securely.

This social registry enables the government to monitor the well-being of beneficiaries of several state and central welfare schemes while weeding out ineligible claimants or ghost beneficiaries. The agriculture and farmers’ empowerment department which is preparing a farmers’ database for the social registry has devised an anomaly detection algorithm to detect any fraud or data anomaly such as when buying seeds for paddy and selling oilseeds.
