According to a World Bank study, inefficient file tracking causes 20-30% productivity losses in public and private sector organizations. Additionally, research from McKinsey & Company highlights that employees spend nearly 1.8 hours per day searching for information, reducing overall efficiency. A PwC report further states that 7.5% of all paper-based documents get lost, leading to operational disruptions.

An e-file Tracking System addresses these challenges by providing a centralized digital platform to monitor file movements in real-time. It ensures quick retrieval, reduces paperwork, enhances transparency, and prevents document loss.  

The Solution has been developed to be customized for use at any Government office to facilitate efficient monitoring and tracking of letters and all supporting documents. The system's successful implementation and smooth functioning encouraged replication in the 41 departments of the Government of Odisha. In addition, the government offices of Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand have implemented the system and are using the e-Despatch console.
