Farmer Registration System

The creation of a database of eligible beneficiaries and the digitization of ration cards across the country was mandated by the National Food Security Act 2013. This was done to provide the government and agri-businesses an unprecedented insight into the rural economy. The digital repository would not only aid precise targeting of subsidies, services and policies but ensure its effective implementation.

The centrally available information about the farmers, would also prevent leakages in the transfer of thousands of crores farm subsidies, in the form of cheap insurances, fertilizers or credit & income assistance.

This is only possible through an intelligent, technology enabled agricultural Database that authenticates the farmers’ credentials by capturing their demographics and ensures that government assistance to them is traceable and reportable.

CSM’s Farmer Registration System was developed to create a clean & correct database of farmers to facilitate the state government to reach out to the genuine eligible beneficiaries for Krushak Assistance for Livelihood and Income Augmentation - KALIA.
