Job Profile

  1. Develop, maintain, and optimize interactive BI dashboards and reports using Apache Superset.

  2. Translate business requirements into data models and visualizations that offer actionable insights.

  3. Integrate data from multiple sources into a single, coherent reporting solution.

  4. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data quality and the effectiveness of BI solutions.

  5. Conduct deep data analysis and produce visual representations of data to guide business decisions.

  6. Identify trends, patterns, and key insights from complex datasets.

  7. Ensure that all visualizations and reports are designed with user experience in mind, making data easy to interpret for non-technical users.

  8. Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve relevant data for analysis and reporting purposes.

  9. Work with different database platforms to gather and process data.

  10. Administer and manage the Apache Superset environment, including performance tuning, security, and user permissions.

  11. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and other teams to define BI requirements.

  12. Establish and follow best practices for BI development, ensuring accuracy and consistency of data and reports.

Candidate Profile

  1. Must have minimum 2 years of experience in a data-related role.

  2. Must have hands-on-experience working with Apache Superset.

  3. Experience connecting Superset to different databases e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.

  4. Experience with Superset's features, such as SQL Lab, Data Sources, and embedding visualizations into web applications.

  5. Experience in open-source BI tools or enterprise BI solutions.

  6. Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively explain technical concepts.

Qualification: BE / B.Tech / MCA
