CSM Tech’s solution BAAF (Bihar Aadhaar Authentication Framework) under the Department of Information Technology, has bagged the SKOCH 2024 e-governance Award in the Silver Category. This event was held on 30 November 2024 at PHD Chamber of Commerce, New Delhi. Mr. Vivek Kumar Nirala, Project Lead, BSEDC, DIT, Bihar, and Mr. Prabhat Kumar, Senior Consultant, DIT, Bihar, received the award from Mr. Sameer Kochhar, MD SKOCH Group, on behalf of the department.
This award marks one more feather in the department's cap, reflecting the trust put in it by residents of Bihar, who perform more than 2.5 lakh Aadhaar authentication transactions daily and efficiently avail themselves of benefits and services.
BAAF addresses challenges in identifying genuine beneficiaries for government schemes by leveraging Aadhaar authentication. As a technology partner, CSM Tech ensures robust data security, compliance with regulations, and efficient management of Aadhaar numbers, contributing to more secure and trustworthy authentication to UIDAI standards and specifications. BAAF has completed 62 crores plus authentication of the beneficiaries in 5 years in 13 departments/ Sub AUA (Aadhaar Authentication Agency) of the state, availing benefits of more than 62 crores transactions by the department.
