Bhubaneswar, August 2024 – The anticipation is building as the grand finale of CSM Synapse 3.0, the highly esteemed state-level school quiz competition, draws near. Now in its third edition, the competition has expanded significantly, attracting over 170 teams across Odisha. Six outstanding teams have emerged as finalists after rigorous zonal rounds in the North, South, and Central regions. They will compete for the championship title at the finals on August 22, 2024, at the Guru Kelu Charan Mohapatra Odissi Research Centre in Bhubaneswar.
The six schools advancing to the state finals are:
• Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya, Berhampur
• Delhi Public School Paradip Refinery, Paradip
• DAV Public School, Unit VIII, Bhubaneswar
• Loyola School, Bhubaneswar
• Indo English School, Rourkela
• Deepika English Medium School, Rourkela
CSM Synapse, an annual quiz competition organized by CSM Tech, aims to promote academic excellence and a spirit of inquiry among school students. Since its launch in 2022, the event has become a landmark intellectual challenge in the region. CSM Tech remains committed to fostering a culture of learning and excellence, creating platforms that empower young minds.
The inaugural edition, CSM Synapse 1.0, 2022, saw participation from 13 of Bhubaneswar’s top schools, with Loyola School emerging as the winner. CSM Synapse 2.0 expanded its reach the following year, with 208 students from 29 schools participating. Sai International School claimed the top spot in the 2023 edition.
CSM Synapse 3.0 has become one of the region’s most eagerly awaited intellectual events. This year’s competition has been marked by impressive participation, with teams displaying their knowledge and critical thinking skills across various subjects.
The grand finale promises to be a thrilling contest as the top teams vie for the title of state champions. The event is expected to attract an enthusiastic audience of students, educators, and quiz enthusiasts.
