This award conference is followed up by four other sessions Digitalization, Women as Entrepreneurs, New Age Finance for Sustainable Growth & Internationalization of Indian SMEs respectively, and one Fireside Chat with Mr. Brejesh Chalill - Executive VP & Head - Treasury & Markets, AXIS Bank.
In the past few years, the Indian government has recognized the immense potential of the MSME sector and has taken various steps to support and promote growth in the sector. The Conference builds upon these initiatives, aiming to address some of the key challenges and provide a strategic direction for the sector's development. With 63 million MSMEs in the country, the sector contributes over 30% to the GDP and has the potential to grow further.
