CSM Tech recently received recognition at the Nasscom AI Gamechangers Awards for its pioneering work in Paddy Analytics as one of the top 3 winners, showcased during the Nasscom AI Confluence. Rasmikant Das, Enterprise Architect of EmTech at CSM Tech, received this prestigious award on 24th July 2024 at Radisson Blu, Marathahalli, Outer Ring Road, Bengaluru. The event was an evening filled with excitement and camaraderie, celebrating the achievements in AI.
Prominent ecosystem leaders such as Abhinav Johri, Partner at EY; Akhilesh Tuteja, Head Clients & Markets at KPMG India; and Ankit Bose, Head of Nasscom AI, were among the attendees. They explored India’s journey towards AI excellence, highlighting CSM Tech's innovative contributions. The awards ceremony featured insightful sessions including keynotes, panel discussions, fireside chats, and lightning talks on trending AI topics.
The Nasscom AI Gamechangers Awards, initiated in 2021 under Nasscom's TECHADE mission, aim to recognize impactful AI implementations across various sectors. This year, CSM Tech's Paddy Analytics for the FSCW department of Odisha was highlighted. The solution includes large-volume GIS mapping, geo-referencing of Hal Cadastral Maps, and analysis of high-resolution satellite images to validate paddy crops. This innovation has significantly streamlined the procurement process, ensuring transparency and equity for over 1.8 million farmers. The area blocked after the satellite survey due to no paddy cultivation is 6,60,986 acres. Notably, the detection of 20,16,260 plots without paddy cultivation resulted in an estimated savings of ₹4,098 crores in MSP expenditure.
