The Claim & Assurance Management System implemented for the BSKY (Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana) project for the Government of Odisha won the most prestigious IMC Digital Technology Awards in the Tech Innovation Category on Friday, 22nd March 2024, at the IMC Digital Technology Conference and Awards 2024 held in Jio Convention Centre, Mumbai. This award is a testament to the CSM’s IT innovation and digital transformation in the healthcare sector.
This system developed by CSM Tech is an integrated centralized platform with automated transaction and claim process at the hospital that ensures seamless accessibility to the beneficiaries and smooth monitoring of the scheme. It is an innovative healthcare initiative that has transformed lives in Odisha, especially for the underprivileged. The BSKY scheme empowers over 95 lakh families with annual health coverage of Rs. 5 lakhs per family, with Rs. 10 lakhs specifically allocated for female members. It enables families to access cashless treatment at any empanelled private hospital within or outside the state. This approach has led to increased transparency and accountability in healthcare service delivery while reducing the administrative burden on both hospitals and beneficiaries.
