The Integrated Mines & Minerals Management System (I3MS), online data verification & permit generation application was developed by CSM for Department of Steel & Mines, Government of Odisha. This IT intervention was adopted to simplify the complex mining process.
Previously there was no such application to monitor mining activities but this solution now ensures transparent mineral management in the state. This IT model (i3MS) is highly valued & will now be adopted by other states. The Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM) is planning to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Space Research organization (ISRO) for adoption of best technologies in the mining sector.
