Loyola School, with its exceptional performance, clinched the title at the third edition of CSM Synapse, solidifying its position as the CSM Synapse 2024 Champions. The dynamic duo of Purbasha Falguni and Pratyaksh Rastogi from Loyola outshined five other zonal-winning teams in a fiercely competitive Grand Finale to take home the grand prize of INR 50,000. This year's competition marked an exciting mix of challenging questions, engaging games, thrilling surprises, and impressive rewards. Manoj Kumar Patra, CFO of CSM Tech, welcomed the participants with his inspiring speech.
In the closely contested final, Pratyush Dhal and Ayan Senapati from DAV Unit VIII, Bhubaneswar, secured the second runner-up position and were awarded a prize of INR 25,000. Other finalists, including Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya (Berhampur), Indo English School (Rourkela), Delhi Public School (Paradip Refinery), and Deepika English Medium School (Rourkela), were honoured as zonal winners, each having shown exceptional knowledge and quizzing skills in their respective zones.
The 2024 edition of CSM Synapse was marked by the introduction of a new two-tier structure. This innovative format, which kicked off with three Zonal Quizzes in July, culminated in the Grand State Finale held on Thursday, August 22, 2024. In this structure, the competition was divided into two levels-the Zonal Quizzes and the Grand State Finale. The top two teams from each zonal round advanced to the finale, where the brightest young minds from across the state competed for glory, underscoring the impact of this new structure.
Lagna Panda, CHRO, and Pradyut Mohan Dash, CTO of CSM Tech, felicitated the winners and participants, expressing their admiration for their performance. “Synapse is a fantastic platform for young, curious minds to demonstrate their quizzing prowess. Adityanath Mubayi, India’s renowned quizmaster and head of research for the popular TV series ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati,’ also emphasized the importance of knowledge. “CSM, being a leader in Information Technology, holds knowledge at its core, and it’s evident that the bright young minds here are the future torchbearers of this vision,” he expressed.
