On 15th October 2024, the CSM Campus Cafeteria transformed into a hub of inclusivity and empowerment during the much-anticipated PECS Café. The initiative, in collaboration with Miss Gargi Bhattacharya, Founder of the Zain Foundation, showcased the remarkable talents of young adults trained through the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS).

At the heart of the event, these young individuals brewed and served coffee with passion, offering a unique experience to all attendees. The PECS method, designed to enhance communication skills for those with autism, enabled participants to interact with confidence, making the café a truly inspiring and memorable experience.

The PECS Café underscored the importance of neurodiversity, allowing participants to display their abilities in a real-world environment while fostering greater awareness and acceptance within the community. This edition of the PECS Café highlighted the power of empathy, creating an atmosphere of understanding and mutual respect.

Stay tuned for future editions as we continue to promote inclusivity and celebrate the potential of every individual through this meaningful initiative.
