<p>Agriculture is a cornerstone of Kenya’s economy, contributing nearly 26% to GDP and 65% of export earnings. Ensuring seed quality is critical to sustaining crop yields and food security. However, Kenya’s seed certification and plant variety protection processes were largely manual, paper-driven, and time-consuming. To address this, CSM Tech implemented the Seed Certification and Plant Variety Protection (SC-PVP) System for the Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service (KEPHIS).</p><p><!--StartFragment--><!--EndFragment--></p><p>The digital platform automates end-to-end seed certification, inspection, testing, payments, and reporting—enabling nationwide visibility, traceability, and faster decision-making across Kenya’s agricultural value chain.</p>
